Hi! I’m Helen – mum to 2, researcher and writer. By day I’m a research consultant helping companies to deliver great customer experiences and reviewing the products and services they offer to their customers.
Over the last few years I’ve been on a (sometimes rocky!) journey of trying to find balance and harmony in juggling parenting and a career while also trying to find some ‘me time’. My background is in applied psychology and research and I love to learn about what makes us tick, the effects of work on our day to day lives and in finding ways to get more balance and harmony into our lives.
Having a healthy work-life balance is something I’m sure we all strive for. 2014 was a turning point for me. I had a couple of health wake-up calls and also turned 40. It was a time for change. So I’m now on a journey of discovery to find a more healthy way of living, less stress and more harmony in my life. I’m still very much on that journey. My life can be crazy, chaotic and disorganised but I’m on a mission and I’d love you to join me. Along the way, I’ll share what I have learnt and what I have found helpful for managing work-life balance and harmony (or not as the case may be!).
